Take the chance to visit one of the most beautiful island of the Aegean.
Nissyros, one of the smallest islands of the Dodecanese, still untouched from today’s modernism, is rich in unparalleled natural beauties and cultural heritage.
It leads its life between the white painted narrow streets of its capital Mandraki and the semi-wild nature of the Volcanic Valley.
Have your breath taken away as our guide accompanies you in the coach, driving up 2000 feet to the highest point of the mountain for a visit to the volcano, one of the few dormant volcano’s in the world. Experience the incredible panoramic view before starting the descent to the crater, where you will feel the volcano alive, bubbling under foot and see the sculpture springs hissing.
The visit of the island is not complete without a homage to the old Byzantine Castle, which hosts the Monastery of Virgin Mary, carved into the rock. Myth has it that the monastery was established by regretted pirates who became its first monks.
As a special highlight we will as well visit the traditional and picturesque mountain village Nikia during our stay in the island.
A complete tour of the island where the easy way of life rhymes with authenticity. A beautiful coast worthy of Aphrodite, impressive panoramas, fertile valleys, exceptional cliffs and a seabed that made the fortune of the island. Welcome to the land of endless blue.

Kalymnos is best known as home of the Sponge Divers but the island has so much more to offer.
The day starts at 9am at the harbor of Mastichari where we board with our bus the ferry to reach Pothia less than an hour later.
Our first stop takes us on a hill housing the picturesque Monastery of Agias Savvas, to enjoy an amazing panorama over the capital town and harbor.
Leaving the animated capital behind us, we take the road leading us to the more peaceful side of Kalymnos. We continuously admire on the left the infinite Aegean Sea and the surrounding islands, and on the right the imposing rock formations and caves. These cliffs have built the reputation of the island as one of the best climbing spots in the world, attracting every year thousands of athletes.
Lunch is taken in a peaceful seaside village with a perfect beach.
The afternoon is spent crossing the beautiful citrus valley of Vathi and learn more about the sponge industry in Rina, also referred to as the Kalymnian Fjord. In this picturesque port surrounded by high cliffs and green waters, we will enjoy the tranquil scenery before heading back to Pothia again and return to Kos.
Set sail aboard a wooden boat and breathe in the beauty of the surrounding islands: Kalymnos and its sponge divers, Pserimos and its picturesque harbor, Plati and its surrounding turquoise waters.

Once you have arrived at the harbor, you are entirely free and thus deciding how you want to spend the day. The possibilities are numerous:

Leaving Kefalos located in the south of Kos behind us, we are heading on a traditional fishing boat towards 2 picturesque islands.
The first one, Agios Antonios, is set just across from Giali where pumice is extracted, and can only be reached by boat. After docking, guests can enjoy the beach and the clear shallow waters. There is also a small chapel on top of the hill that offers a nice panoramic view.
Lunch is served aboard before sailing to the next island.
Nissyros is its name and is famous for its active volcano. The boat arrives in Mandraki, the capital of this small island that has kept a typical Greek charm. Busses are ready to take the guests up to the caldera which, with its 4 km width, is one of the biggest in Europe. The lunar landscape is unusual.
Guests can go down by foot into the crater and discover the volcanic activity from close by: yellow crystals created by the sulphurous steam, holes in the bottom and the unmistakable odor of sulphur.
After this unique experience, busses will bring the guests back to the harbor and they will have free time to explore and enjoy the typical authentic Greek atmosphere. Some may want to go up to the monastery of Agia Spyliani to be amazed by the views that it offers.Other will enjoy a stroll through its narrow streets

Arrival to Astypalea port and transport to the hotel.
Astypalea or Hora
The island’s capital is built on a hill jutting out into the sea to form two distinct bays; namely Livadi and Pera Gialos, where the main port is situated. The white domes of the churches of Evangelistria and Agios Georgios stand out against the dark, local stone of the hilltop castle in which they are enclosed.
Clustered on the hill around the castle are whitewashed houses with blue doors and windows, and wooden railings on their balconies. In the main square of the Hora, overlooking the mills, you will find restaurants with fine food as well as picturesque coffee shops and bars for an evening drink.
Following the course of a fertile gorge, then spreading wider where it meets the bay of the same name, the village of Livadi is the flower garden of the island; tangerine orchards, orange groves, vineyards and houses garlanded by flowers, all tumbling colourfully down to its beautiful beach. Throughout the day, you can enjoy a meal at the beach cafes and restaurants overlooking the sea and Hora.
Pera Gialos is the first port of the island and typifies authentic Astypalean hospitality.
It has lovely views, restaurants where you can enjoy the local cuisine, small traditional cafes and bakeries and a lovely beach, ideal for relaxation and the occasional dive into crystalline waters.
If you want to explore the rest of the coastline, Pera Gialos is also a great starting point, as here you will find tour boats that can take you to exquisite beaches of Astypalea and islands like Koutsomitis and Kounoupa.
Analipsi or Maltezana
A quiet coastal village nestled in a small valley in Mesa Nisi, ideal for relaxing on the fine sand. Its alternative name, Maltezana, dates back to the days of the pirates, who would roam the Aegean and take refuge in the island’s enclosed bays. The holiday village embraces a bay with a long pier, where fishing boats dock, and stretches back inland to delightful orchards and vineyards.
Maltezana has many restaurants where you can enjoy fresh fish.
A very narrow bay of about 50 meters, which looks more like a lagoon, Vathy has two small settlements: Exo Vathy, located at the entrance of the bay, with a number of small steps down to where fishing boats dock, and the more pastoral Mesa Vathy, at the end of the bay, with quiet fields, shady orchards and vineyards. You can reach Vathy via a passable dirt road.
It lies about 12km from Maltezana.
