Welcome to the sun-drenched islands of Santorini and Naxos.  
This is a six (6) night stay at 3* Hotel with transfers and optional tours for you to choose to tailor your package.
Santorini island is world reknowned as the romantic island with its Instagram sunsets, sweeping views from a unique volcanic formation and its towns hanging off the cliffs. 
Continue on to Naxos -the largest of the Cycladic island – beautiful beaches and remote villages dot the island. The UNESCO monument of Portara -the temple of Apollo- known as the logo for National Geographic dominates as you enter the harbour. The island’s local food produce and gastronomy is renowned.  Our next island is Santorini known as the romantic island with its Instagram sunsets, sweeping views from a unique volcanic formation and its towns hanging off the cliffs.

Day 1 - Santorini Island - Arrival

Welcome to Santorini
Transfer:
Your driver will be there to greet you at the Airport or Port. Enjoy a private transfer to your hotel.
Hotel:
Check-in at your hotel. If arrival is before the hotel designated check-in time you may elect to leave your luggage at reception.
Free afternoon:
Rest of your day free to explore the Kamari area of Santorini. Enjoy a swim at the nearby beach or lay by the pool. An evening must, is a visit to the main town and walk along the Caldera connecting the 3 connected towns of Fira, Firostefani or Imerovigli. Enjoy a walk through the cobble streets with a surprise at every corner.
The most amazing views awaits you from the towns hanging of the cliff. If you are adventurous you may elect to visit the town of Oia (pronounced `ia`) the location for the movie Lana Croft: `Tomb Raider` with Angelina Jolie.
Ensure you are at any location with a view of the volcano across the waters to view the most famous and romantic sunset.

Day 2 - Free Morning & The Afternoon Catamaran Caldera Sunset Cruise-Small Group (Optional Excursion)

Free Morning:
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and stroll to the main town for any last-minute shopping and souvenirs. Or you may choose The Morning Catamaran Caldera - Small Group Cruise with lunch served on board
The Afternoon Catamaran Caldera Sunset Cruise -Small Group
Hotel pick-up and transportation to Vlyhada Marina to board the catamaran. Your relaxed romantic adventure starts by sailing past the famous Red and White beaches formed from volcanic lava thousands of years ago. Continue sailing along the coastline heading to a small volcanic island for swimming and snorkeling at the Hot Springs of the Nea Kameni island. A chance to walk along the lunar like landscape of this volcano formed island, while the crew are preparing your meal. We continue sailing along the awe-inspiring coast line to the Old Port of Fira town which hangs high above the deep blue sea and the cliffs of the Caldera. Sit back and relax and enjoy the view of this Instagram sunset, one of the most photographed sunsets in the world. The most amazing experience when sailing in the Caldera but also viewed from high up on the Caldera cliffs.
Return to port for your transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3 - Santorini Full Day Island Bus Tour (Optional Excursion)

Full-Day Island Adventure
Tour starts at 10.30 in the morning and ends after sunset. This tour included hotel pick-up and drop-off.
Explore the quaint village of Emborio, boasting wonderful windmills on the top of the hills, fortified medieval castles, blue-domed churches and old churches dating back to the 3rd century
Discover one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world, the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri (the so-called “Prehistoric Pompeii”), buried by the volcanic ashes during the 17th century BC and remained alive for 3500 years beneath the lava
Free time for photos at the famous Red Beach, well known for the unique color of the sand and the soaring red lava cliffs which drops right to the sandy shore and into the clear blue sea
Visit Perivolos Beach, one of the longest beaches in Cyclades and the most popular black sandy beach in Santorini. Free time for swimming & good food in one of the restaurants, taverns, cafes or beach bars
Enjoy the beautiful panorama from the highest mountain of Santorini, Prophet Elias (565m high), and take pictures of this striking view of the entire island
Discover the facilities of a traditional winery and taste the unique local wines while you admire the spectacular view of the Caldera
Enjoy panoramic views the highest peak on Santorini of 565m high and feel the rugged beauty and striking views of the entire island, the deep blue of the sea and the surrounding islands.
You will visit a traditional winery and taste the unique local wines. Wine making on the island is evident since antiquity, using unique techniques and traditions handed down from generation to generation. The local grapes are never watered. Nowhere else can you admire the spectacular views of the Caldera with a glass of wine at hand.

Day 4 - Santorini to Naxos & Naxos Island Sunset Walk (Optional Excursion)

Private Transfer:
After breakfast and check-out, your driver will transfer you to Santorini Port. (no shared transfers available until further notice)
Transportation:
Depart Santorini island on a high-speed vessel for Naxos island. Your fast journey will take approximately 1:30 hours.

Shared Transfer: (Private transfers are available at a small surcharge in the options)
Driver will be there to greet you at the Port of Naxos. Shared transfer to your hotel.

Check-in at your hotel. If arrival is before the hotel designated check-in time you may elect to leave your luggage at reception.
Rest of your day free to explore the island, the main town or go for a swim in one of its many beaches.
This island is the largest in its group with its unique architecture, beautiful beaches and gastronomy like no other based on its vast local produce.
After you relax at your hotel why not take a walking sunset tour of Naxos town. Visit the Temple of Apollo and its giant marble arch called “Portara” better known around the world as the logo for National Geographic.
This walking tour takes through the narrow alleys of the main town admiring the Cycladic unique architecture before reaching the Venetian castle above the town. Pass by the Catholic Cathedral, its museum, feel its Venetian past at every corner while building up your appetite.
The highlight of this tour is at Portara to view the beautiful warm Cycladic sunset.

Day 5 - Free Day or Naxos Island Bus Tour (Optional Excursion)

Even though Naxos is the largest island in the Cycladic group, yet it is small enough to see the island's unique inland secrets and villages in a day. This full-day adventure bus tour offers hotel pick-up and drop-off.
Visit Demeter’s restored Temple in Sangri dating back to the 5th century B.C and its museum (closed on Tuesdays). Next at the village of Chalki have a chance to taste the local liqueur Citron at an old distillery dating back to 1896. You will visit the medieval town of Apiranthos built on the slopes of the mountain with its narrow alleyways paved with marble, offering breathtaking views to the surrounds. Its unique architecture does not resemble the Cycladic white washed feel belonging to an island but more like a mainland village high up in the mountains.
More surprises for this island unfold at Apollonas the spot of the old emery mines to admire the huge 35-foot marble Kouros statue. This unfinished statue dates back to the 6th century B.C. its considered as the personification of god Dionysus. Its unique not only in size but in its position. The statue is not upright but lying down.
The tour passes through traditional villages medieval churches dating back centuries with unique frescoes and a complex of 4 churches under one dome.
Return to your hotel via the olive press museum and make sure you end your day at a nearby beach.
Note: Ensure you are wearing comfortable walking shoes, have your sunglasses, hat and sun-screen and a face mask (Compulsory by local law until further notice)

Day 6 - Free Day on Naxos Island or Boat trip to an uninhabited Island (Optional Excursion)

A wonderful day sailing aboard a traditional 60-foot (18 meters) vessel commencing from St Anna Port just 7km from the main town of Naxos. Transfers to St. Anna port can be arranged by taxi from your hotel or it can be prebooked (cost not included)
We need to be at port by 9.30 in the morning for your sailing trip from the port of St Anna. The vessel heads out to the uninhabited ``Kato Koufonisi`` island. Sit back relax or enjoy swimming in these the turquoise waters among natural unspoilt beauty of this small island. The vessel does not dock and a small level of fitness is required using the boat ladder with captains’ assistance.
As you are enjoying walking or swimming in clear tropical like waters, your barbeque lunch is being prepared. Enjoy your meal with complimentary house wine, a cold soft drink or water offered by the captain.
Sail to nearby inhabited ``Ano Koufonisi`` island for three (3) hours stay at your leisure to explore the only town and enjoy a swim at any of its sandy beaches. Ano Koufonisi island has become very popular with visitors as it is small and can only cater for a limited number of holiday makers.
Head back to Naxos Island and the port of commencement -St. Anna. Tour ends at the pier. Total journey, a full day approx. 9 and a half hours

Day 7 - Naxos- Departure Day

Visit the active volcano of Santorini in `Nea Kameni` Island, where you will have the opportunity to climb on the top of the volcano, see and take photos of the active crater and walk along its rim.
  • Swim in the Thermal green water springs of `Palia Kameni` island created by the underwater powers of the volcano.
  • Sail and anchor close to the island of Thirasia where buffet dinner is served.
